Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features across Pico’s Redline Trading Solutions and Corvil Analytics products.
- Build and maintain high-performance, multithreaded software for ultra-low-latency market data and order execution.
- Normalize and analyze high-volume real-time market data.
- Write maintainable code and articulate technical decisions and trade-offs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and incorporate constructive feedback.
- Support hybrid office/remote work and occasional travel as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Strong proficiency in C development under Linux.
- Knowledge of high-performance systems and multithreaded application development.
- Extensive knowledge of computer architectures.
- Strong problem-solving, learning, communication, collaboration, and customer-service skills.
- Desirable knowledge of financial trading concepts and protocols, including FIX.
- Desirable experience with automated testing, Linux development environments, gdb, valgrind, Python, Java, Jenkins, IP networking, and Wireshark.
