Responsibilities
- Serve as the Design Authority for Labvantage LIMS products and services, assessing impacts and approving related initiatives.
- Manage business demand, including projects, continuous improvement initiatives, major incidents, special requests, and escalations.
- Provide technical and functional expertise throughout solution design, transformation projects, deployment, and service introduction.
- Oversee third-party service and development vendors and maintain accountability for service, availability, performance, SLA, and development metrics.
- Translate business requirements into practical IT solution specifications and collaborate with global stakeholders on solution design.
- Guide development teams, support Operations with complex issues, and protect global and mandated processes.
- Assess application architecture and lifecycle status, recommending upgrades, retirements, patches, and new solutions.
- Maintain process, technical, and functional documentation and support product lifecycle, release, change management, and production activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology is preferred; a master's in Software Engineering is also listed.
- Strong Labvantage experience is required, preferably in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry.
- Experience in a relevant functional area, preferably in an IT, operations, key-user, or functional expert role, is required.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory business processes and the ability to learn additional process areas is required.
- Proven leadership, influencing, stakeholder relationship, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills are required.
- Fluent English proficiency at C2 level is required.
- ITIL, PMI, Agile, DevOps, Scrum, or Lean IT certifications are advantageous.
- CISSP certification is listed in the qualifications.
