Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules across multiple business domains.
- Develop Python features and enhancements using the Odoo framework.
- Build and maintain integrations between Odoo and third-party applications using REST APIs, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, and other methods.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, secure technical solutions.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and system scalability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support Odoo module migrations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with analysts, managers, product stakeholders, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain technical documentation, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least three years of professional software development experience, including at least three years of hands-on Odoo/ERP development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience with Odoo Community and/or Enterprise editions.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and third-party system integrations.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Experience with Git, modern version control workflows, Linux environments, and software deployment processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Java and/or Spring Framework is a plus.
