Responsibilities
- Spend approximately 80–90% of the time coding while serving as a technical leader and mentoring junior engineers.
- Design and architect projects and develop backend software using sound architecture, design, and coding practices.
- Maintain data mesh infrastructure and build foundational components for Intuit’s next-generation data platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Intuit teams using Agile, Scrum, or Extreme Programming practices.
- Develop and implement AI-based solutions.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of experience working in an enterprise environment hosting complex systems.
- Experience with Java, TypeScript, or Python; familiarity with JAR and WAR structures is helpful.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of Docker and container orchestration systems such as ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with build systems, CI/CD tools such as AWS DevOps or Jenkins, and application analytics or monitoring.
- Experience with Git and GitHub repositories, Nexus, and Artifactory.
- Strong Linux/Unix background and advanced Bash scripting knowledge.
- Understanding of security best practices in coding and operations.
- Understanding of GenAI technology and experience working in agile teams.
- Strong communication skills.
