Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Build, deploy, and operate containerized applications using Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, Docker, and Helm.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using Git and Argo CD.
- Implement SSO, IAM, Kubernetes RBAC, workload identities, Zero Trust, least privilege, and defense-in-depth controls.
- Integrate vulnerability and container security scanning into CI/CD and cloud environments.
- Design and troubleshoot AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, DNS, and TLS.
- Support microservice-based application deployments and troubleshoot cloud, Kubernetes, networking, CI/CD, and application issues.
- Establish DevSecOps, infrastructure, security, and operational best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
- Experience with ECS, Docker, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Argo CD/GitOps.
- Hands-on experience with SSO, IAM, Kubernetes RBAC, and access control.
- Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, cloud security, AWS networking, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience applying security standards throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
- Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.
- Active TS/SCI clearance or higher, or an active Secret clearance with the ability and willingness to obtain TS/SCI.
- Preferred experience includes AWS GovCloud or regulated environments; NIST, CIS, FedRAMP, FISMA, or DoD security requirements; Kubernetes security, NetworkPolicies, secrets management, workload identity, monitoring, logging, observability, and relevant AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or security certifications.
