Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance Android SDK features that work across 150+ device types and configurations.
- Own feature development and deliver a high level of user experience and code quality.
- Drive Android engineering best practices in architecture, modularization, testing, and engineering workflows.
- Build scalable, maintainable Android code using modern tools including Jetpack and Kotlin.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and design low-latency, efficient solutions.
- Champion privacy, security, reliability, and responsible handling of user data.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and external SDK partners.
- Use ad-tech APIs, SDKs, mediation platforms, and bidding practices to optimize ad delivery and monetization.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application functionality, responsiveness, and resource usage.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Android development experience with Java, Kotlin, Coroutines, and dependency injection.
- Extensive hands-on experience with modern Android application development tools and libraries, application lifecycle concepts, asynchronous server communication, and UI components.
- Experience with ad-tech concepts, platforms, mediation, and bidding practices.
- Strong ability to design and architect high-scale Android applications.
- Proficiency with Git and code versioning tools.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, Robolectric, and Espresso.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and commitment to shipping high-quality code.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose is preferred.
