Responsibilities
- Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate operational tasks, process REST API data, and improve operational efficiency with AI-assisted tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains including GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
- Troubleshoot production issues, manage Kubernetes environments, improve monitoring and observability, and implement security best practices.
- Administer source code management, artifact management, Linux, cloud, and reverse proxy systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of recent Linux/Unix administration experience, preferably with Red Hat.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Python and Bash scripting and automation experience.
- Experience administering GitHub Enterprise, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
- Experience with CI/CD and build automation tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Experience with artifact management tools such as Artifactory, Nexus, or Git LFS.
- Experience with REST APIs, Git workflows, Kubernetes, and at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Salt.
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, TLS/certificates, and OSI layers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with Nginx, HAProxy, or Apache.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise administration of GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, and Artifactory; Linux security, patching, and hardening; monitoring tools; Docker; AWS services; Terraform; AIOps; AI-assisted log analysis; incident triage; or LLM-powered automation.
