Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the MeetingBroker system architecture vision across browser, API, integration, and cloud layers.
- Lead logical, integration, and deployment architecture for .NET/C# backend services, Azure-hosted workloads, and external integrations.
- Establish standards for .NET/C# frameworks, Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, authentication, authorization, API contracts, data access, and persistence.
- Lead modernization, cloud evolution, integration simplification, and architecture-runway initiatives.
- Serve as System Architect at the Agile Release Train level and participate in Program Increment Planning.
- Prepare architecture enablers and technical epics, support initiative scoping, and provide actionable architecture backlog items.
- Enable engineering teams through technical guidance, reference patterns, documentation, and implementation trade-off decisions.
- Embed security, performance, scalability, observability, operational readiness, failover, and disaster-recovery requirements into designs.
- Collaborate with product management, security, and operations teams to manage dependencies, delivery risks, technical debt, and compliance.
Requirements
- 12+ years of practical experience with .NET/C# enterprise systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, distributed systems, and service-oriented architecture.
- Proficiency in API design, integration patterns, and authentication/authorization flows.
- Expertise in CI/CD and cloud-native operational management.
- Proven experience as a System Architect or in a similar architecture role.
- Comprehensive understanding of Scaled Agile Framework practices, including Agile Release Train responsibilities.
- Track record of developing technical enablers and sustaining architecture runway.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and influence without formal authority.
- Ability to balance delivery speed with long-term technical sustainability.
