Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans for L3 routing protocols like OSPF and BGP.
- Lead validation of WAN technologies including PPPoE and DHCP.
- Perform end-to-end testing of Firewall, NAT/PAT, and DNS features.
- Drive test automation initiatives using Python or equivalent frameworks.
- Conduct packet-level analysis with Wireshark and tcpdump.
- Perform interoperability testing across multi-vendor environments.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and enhance team capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during design reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in QA engineering.
- Hands-on experience with IPv6 and related technologies.
- Familiarity with VPN technologies such as IPSec and OpenVPN.
- Experience with VLAN and other L2 protocols.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated regression frameworks.
- Experience with embedded Linux or firmware-level debugging.
- Networking certifications like CCNA or CCNP are a plus.
