Base Salary
$158k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software solutions for complex AWS Marketplace business problems.
- Own the design and implementation of major deliverables end-to-end.
- Work across platform services, system-level components, and distributed systems architectures.
- Define product features and system architecture while collaborating with engineers, principal engineers, product managers, and partner teams.
- Build high-quality software with strong performance, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Explore agentic development and AI tools in the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
