Base Salary
$144k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software components for an AI-native content creation platform supporting animation and live-action/VFX workflows.
- Implement backend services, media-processing pipelines, APIs, ML model integrations, and creator-facing tooling across the stack.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with ML scientists, applied scientists, product managers, animators, filmmakers, and storytellers to deliver features.
- Integrate with Digital Content Creation tools including Adobe Animate, After Effects, Maya, and Storyboard Pro.
- Troubleshoot and debug production systems and contribute to operational excellence, monitoring, alerting, documentation, and on-call rotations.
- Participate in design discussions, standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives while progressively taking on more complex engineering work.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object-Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
