Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-enabled applications and backend services.
- Integrate machine learning models into production systems through APIs and services.
- Package, deploy, serve, version, and optimize models using containerized and cloud-native architectures.
- Optimize AI systems for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting and lead root-cause analysis for production AI issues.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate testing, deployment, and environment management.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, MLOps, Data Engineering, Cloud, and Platform teams.
- Contribute to coding standards, documentation, secure deployment, compliant practices, and production reliability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of total engineering experience.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience developing production software with Python.
- Experience integrating inference or machine learning models into applications and working with model-serving systems.
- Experience with real-time or low-latency inference systems is preferred.
- Experience with MLOps pipelines and model lifecycle tools is preferred.
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments is preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containers, orchestration, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, SQL, and messaging or streaming systems.
- Cloud or AI-related certifications are preferred.
- Strong systems thinking, performance optimization, collaboration, communication, documentation, and ownership skills.
