Base Salary
$119k - $206k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology initiatives with broad companywide impact.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and review complex technology solutions.
- Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for large-scale technology solutions.
- Build and support full-stack Java applications, APIs, microservices, and Spring Boot services.
- Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex issues.
- Lead projects and teams, run scrum teams, and provide peer mentorship.
- Support production readiness, code quality, application security, and vulnerability remediation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 3 years of financial services experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on full-stack Java software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, building, and supporting APIs and microservices.
- At least 3 years of experience building services with Spring Boot.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud-native architectures and container platforms such as Kubernetes.
- At least 1 year of experience using AI software development tools such as GitHub Copilot and agents.
- At least 1 year of leadership experience, including running scrum teams or mentoring teams.
- Experience with trading, market data, or FIX-based systems is preferred.
- OpenShift, code review, software architecture, solution design, CI/CD workflows, GitHub-based workflows, Visual Studio Code, and application security experience are preferred.
