Responsibilities
- Define and communicate technical vision and strategy for software projects.
- Design and develop cloud-native microservices and APIs for Title and Escrow platforms.
- Lead adoption and integration of technologies, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical workshops and training sessions.
- Create project plans, timelines, and milestones and coordinate with project managers on delivery.
- Review code for quality, performance, security, and standards compliance.
- Resolve complex technical challenges, perform root cause analysis, and address system bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept projects and implement continuous process improvements.
- Create technical documentation covering system architecture and design decisions.
- Analyze and optimize system performance through tuning and scaling strategies.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience with Microsoft technologies, including C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
- Experience with TypeScript, NestJS, Node.js, and a modern UI framework such as React.js or Angular.
- 6+ years of experience with microservices and event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka or another event-processing service.
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including EC2, S3, Lambda, EFS, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, and VPC.
- At least 4+ years of experience designing and architecting systems using different patterns and solutions.
- At least 4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, YAML, and PowerShell.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with GenAI technologies, including LLM fine-tuning, RAG architecture implementation, and prompt engineering.
- Understanding of testing strategies including unit testing, Behavior-Driven Development, and Test-Driven Development.
- Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, DocumentDB, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes and familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk, ELK Stack, and Datadog.
- Experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Knowledge of Databricks with Python is an advantage; AWS or Azure developer and architect certification is a plus.
