Base Salary
$169k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales on technical discovery, solution design, customer validation, evaluations, and competitive situations.
- Deliver virtual and in-person technical demonstrations and support executive discussions.
- Deploy and support proof-of-value and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
- Create customer-facing documentation, technical summaries, solution narratives, and training sessions.
- Support marketing events, conferences, webinars, and speaking engagements.
- Collaborate with Product, Enablement, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support teams to share field insights.
- Travel approximately 25–50% depending on region and business needs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a related technical role.
- At least 5 years of customer-facing technical, pre-sales, or customer support experience.
- Experience supporting complex cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise platform sales cycles with enterprise customers.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, identity and access, governance and risk, and security operations.
- Strong working knowledge of enterprise networking, including routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, firewalls, DNS, NAT, and network segmentation.
- Familiarity with SPAN ports, port mirroring, TAPs, packet capture brokers, NetFlow, and network telemetry.
- Ability to explain how security platforms integrate with customer networks to collect data, provide visibility, and support demos, POVs, and POCs.
- Strong presentation, storytelling, executive communication, and customer engagement skills.
- Demonstrated contribution to technical wins, deal progression, and successful customer outcomes.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: hands-on IAM or IGA experience, Security Operations or Security Engineering background, IoT/OT/IoMT asset discovery, vulnerability management, security or cloud certifications, and Linux or Python scripting experience.
