Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select technologies.
- Design and implement the AI Developer Tools Platform and related services under the Gemini Enterprise umbrella.
- Develop server-side and middleware functionality that interacts with large language models.
- Collaborate with teams across Cloud AI and with customers including Antigravity, Gemini Code Assist, Gemini CLI, and Android Studio.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while applying AI techniques to improve productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of backend development experience in one or more programming languages, or one year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Preferred experience developing software in Go.
- Preferred experience developing and deploying applications on cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred experience building enterprise applications involving AI safety, data residency, and integration with existing systems.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models, or AI agents.
- A master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field is preferred.
