Responsibilities
- Build pipelines for publishing security advisories from vulnerability assessments and released fixes.
- Automate vulnerability assessment across package, version, dependency, and software ecosystems.
- Integrate vulnerability discovery scanners and connect reconciled findings to assessment and patching workflows.
- Build and operate Python services, command-line tools, and internal interfaces for vulnerability and release management.
- Clarify requirements with stakeholders, set priorities, and define result verification.
- Improve build and deployment automation, monitor production systems, and troubleshoot services, containers, and data stores.
- Review code and improve automated testing, security, and maintainability.
- Use AI coding agents while reviewing and testing their output.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining production software in Python.
- Strong Linux troubleshooting and production-debugging skills.
- Experience designing and integrating APIs and services.
- Experience with asynchronous or distributed processing.
- Experience with CI/CD, containers, and build or deployment automation.
- Solid relational data modeling and SQL skills.
- Preferred experience with Django, Django REST Framework, Celery, RabbitMQ, Go, package ecosystems, dependency metadata, or OSV vulnerability data formats.
