Base Salary

$123k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and engineering direction while collaborating with business stakeholders, product teams, and cross-functional technology groups.
  • Analyze user stories and design, develop, test, and automate software applications.
  • Own architecture, design, development, and other technical aspects of assigned applications.
  • Perform hands-on development including coding, API specifications, proof of concepts, code reviews, and testing.
  • Drive consistent development practices through shared tools and components.
  • Understand and integrate with related systems and platforms across supported domains.
  • Contribute to technical blueprints and annual feature planning with technical product managers.
  • Identify opportunities to adopt new technologies and communicate solution designs to internal and external partners.
  • Build and integrate AI/ML and generative AI solutions into production systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of commercial software development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and Python and experience with distributed or multi-tier systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, relational or NoSQL databases, and Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Vertex AI, automated release management, Maven, Salt, Git, and Jenkins.
  • Experience designing and modeling complex systems and architectures.
  • Understanding of web technologies, HTTP, Apache, Unix/Linux, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Experience with Agile development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and CI/CD pipeline tools.
  • Knowledge of the Genesys contact center ecosystem and framework is preferred.
  • Experience building and integrating AI/ML solutions, familiarity with TensorFlow and PyTorch, and hands-on generative AI, LLM, prompt engineering, and AI-powered application development experience.
  • Experience using Vertex AI for model development, deployment, and monitoring, plus awareness of responsible AI practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, documentation, collaboration, and continuous improvement skills.
  • Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required.
