Base Salary
$106k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, maintenance, and lifecycle delivery of non-embedded software.
- Translate customer requirements into software designs, architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and detailed implementation documentation.
- Develop, enhance, optimize, and integrate software products and features using Java and cloud technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve defects, troubleshoot technical issues, manage user inquiries, and incorporate feedback into product improvements.
- Evaluate technologies, tools, frameworks, regulatory changes, software processes, and performance metrics.
- Execute and document software research and development projects and provide technical guidance.
- Perform software project management activities and oversee supplier relationships and deliverables.
- Track team and supplier performance for compliance with project plans and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance, with SCI eligibility; U.S. citizenship is required.
- At least 2 years of experience with Java.
- At least 2 years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment.
- At least 1 year of experience with Agile methodologies.
- At least 1 year of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: Level 3 qualification with 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: Experience with cloud microservice architectures, Linux, AWS, VSCode, Maven, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, WildFly, MongoDB, REST API integration, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Ability to synthesize software architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics, and constraints.
- Knowledge of software development, testing, deployment processes, tools, and industry standards.
