Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture and solution strategy for large, complex, strategic bids.
- Coordinate with sales, bid leadership, account teams, product specialists, services, legal, finance, executive sponsors, partners, and delivery organizations.
- Develop joint value propositions, solution architectures, technical proposals, statements of work, and bid responses.
- Facilitate technical discovery, architecture workshops, solution reviews, demonstrations, proof-of-value activities, and executive presentations.
- Translate customer business outcomes into scalable MongoDB-based architectures and partner delivery models.
- Shape partner-led modernization, migration, cloud, application development, data, analytics, and AI solutions.
- Identify technical risks, competitive threats, delivery constraints, dependencies, and commercial considerations.
- Create reusable bid assets, reference architectures, technical content, and best practices.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with MongoDB capabilities, partner expertise, security requirements, and customer success criteria.
- Support deal qualification, opportunity prioritization, account planning, and pipeline-generation activities.
- Coordinate technical responses across multiple partners and mentor field Solutions Architects and partner technical teams.
- Capture field feedback and communicate product, capability, and partner requirements to internal teams.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing Solutions Architect, Partner Solutions Architect, Presales Architect, Consulting Architect, or equivalent role.
- Experience supporting complex enterprise bids, tenders, RFPs, or strategic pursuits.
- Proven ability to design and communicate distributed, scalable, secure, and highly available architectures.
- Experience working with Global System Integrators and their sales, consulting, architecture, and delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, modern application architectures, microservices, APIs, data platforms, and DevOps.
- Experience developing technical proposals, solution designs, presentations, and executive-level bid content.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, work under tight deadlines, and drive outcomes in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical and business concepts to technical and executive audiences.
- Willingness to travel as required for customer and partner engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes MongoDB, Atlas, relational database modernization, NoSQL technologies, major cloud providers, large-scale transformation, legacy modernization, data modernization, AI/ML, application development, public-sector or regulated-industry procurement, joint go-to-market propositions, and multi-year, multi-million-dollar pursuits.
- MongoDB or major cloud provider certification is preferred.
