Responsibilities
- Define scalable, high-performance mobile architecture for iOS, Android, and cross-platform applications.
- Develop mobile architecture frameworks and patterns such as MVC, MVP, and MVVM.
- Lead and mentor development teams on coding standards, testing, performance optimization, and best practices.
- Act as the technical liaison among developers, project managers, and stakeholders to define and refine requirements.
- Oversee integration of mobile applications with backend services through RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Evaluate mobile technologies and guide decisions among native, hybrid, and cross-platform frameworks.
- Ensure mobile applications follow security, privacy, and compliance requirements, including encryption, authentication, and secure data handling.
- Analyze and optimize application performance, battery life, and data usage.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and DevOps teams on user experience, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay current with mobile development trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in mobile development across iOS and Android.
- 3+ years of experience in mobile architecture or a similar leadership role.
- Proven experience building large-scale, complex mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java, React Native, and Flutter.
- Familiarity with Xcode, Android Studio, and other mobile development tools and frameworks.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and Firebase.
- Knowledge of mobile security standards and best practices.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with mobile analytics and A/B testing tools such as Dynatrace, Firebase, and HeadSpin is preferred.
- Knowledge of emerging mobile technologies including 5G, AR/VR, and IoT is preferred.
