Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and regression suites.
  • Build automated API, integration, end-to-end, and non-functional tests.
  • Integrate quality gates and automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Use mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, JCL, TSO, and DB2 or similar platforms.
  • Define test data strategies and maintain traceable quality evidence.
  • Identify quality risks early and drive remediation plans.
  • Define test strategy and produce Test Project Completion Certificates.
  • Plan, monitor, and manage operational delivery against quality parameters and timelines.
  • Implement work trackers, define team responsibilities, and establish work allocation and delivery plans.
  • Coordinate scope, stakeholders, escalation matrices, milestones, and timelines with onshore managers.
  • Design and implement management information systems for status reporting and risk and control trend identification.
  • Promote risk governance, continuous improvement, compliance, and customer service across business processes.
  • Use AI to propose test scenarios, identify coverage gaps, support defect triage, prioritize regressions, and generate initial automation scaffolds.
  • Critically review and validate AI-generated assertions and expected outcomes.

Requirements

  • Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CISA, or CIA.
  • 7–9 years of professional experience.
  • Experience leading and scaling test automation across modern and legacy platforms.
  • Experience with API, integration, end-to-end, regression, and non-functional testing.
  • Experience with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, CICS, JCL, TSO, and DB2 or similar.
  • Strong project management, risk governance, delivery planning, and stakeholder coordination skills.
