Responsibilities
- Build world-class developer infrastructure to empower Databricks engineers.
- Boost the reliability, speed, and efficiency of large builds.
- Create seamless development environments and IDE integrations.
- Lead cross-functional projects and influence architectural decisions.
- Evaluate technology choices with external vendors and internal teams.
Requirements
- Strong passion for improving developer workflows and infrastructure.
- In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with building and managing internal developer tools or CI/CD systems.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with executing high-priority initiatives.
- Proficient in coding clean, bug-free code in languages like Scala, Rust, Java, Python, and Go.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fast-paced software engineering organizations.
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
