Responsibilities

Build and maintain web applications and features for the Brivity platform using React, TypeScript, Ruby, and .NET.
Partner with product and engineering leadership to scope, prioritize, and deliver features.
Translate product requirements and Figma designs into high-quality product experiences.
Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation.
Write clean, scalable, well-documented code following engineering best practices.
Develop and maintain automated tests including unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage.
Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve performance and reliability.
Identify and reduce technical debt in the codebase.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to raising engineering standards.
Collaborate with design, QA, backend engineering, and product teams.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Contribute to Agile processes including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Maintain and improve technical documentation.
Stay current with platform updates and emerging AI development tools.

3 to 5 years of professional experience in frontend and/or full-stack web development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
Working knowledge of Ruby and/or .NET, or ability to learn new languages quickly.
Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
Hands-on experience using AI coding tools in a professional development workflow.
Experience writing automated tests including unit, integration, or end-to-end coverage.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
