Responsibilities
- Deliver AI-first working systems, reusable reference architectures, and internal assets on Amazon Connect for organizational initiatives.
- Design, build, and maintain live demo environments showcasing Amazon Connect AI agents and emerging product capabilities.
- Develop front-end experiences, back-end services, REST APIs, and web services integrating agentic and generative AI.
- Configure Amazon Connect AI agents, including prompts, guardrails, memory, context management, evaluation, and tuning.
- Deploy MCP servers and architect A2A patterns for multi-agent orchestration and specialized agent collaboration.
- Build serverless integrations with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions using Python and Node.js.
- Integrate agents with DynamoDB, RDS, S3, OpenSearch, Kendra, and Knowledge Bases for Amazon Bedrock.
- Apply least-privilege access, data protection, security controls, HIPAA and GDPR considerations, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Test and evaluate agent performance against defined success criteria to ensure reliable and repeatable solutions.
- Create reference architectures, playbooks, sample code, prompt libraries, and data-readiness checklists, and share learnings with service teams and partners.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in relevant technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- 3+ years of hands-on coding experience with REST APIs and web services, including integrating agentic or generative AI into working applications.
- Full-stack development experience across front-end and back-end systems.
- Cloud experience across compute, databases, integration, identity, networking, and automated packaging and deployment, preferably with AWS.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agent memory and context management, RAG, and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with MCP and A2A interoperability protocols.
- Preferred experience with Amazon Connect, Amazon Bedrock, conversational AI frameworks such as Amazon Lex, multi-agent orchestration, tool use, function calling, and autonomous agent workflows.
- Preferred experience building MCP servers, applying the AWS Well-Architected Framework, using Terraform and Python for automation, and building demos or proofs of concept.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR is preferred.
