Responsibilities
- Build responsive, high-quality interfaces using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Develop features for EventMobi’s Progressive Web App and support reliable experiences across devices and varying network conditions.
- Implement features from defined requirements while collaborating on design decisions with product managers, designers, and senior engineers.
- Balance user experience, performance, and technical constraints within a shared, evolving codebase.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Debug issues and improve code quality and implementation approaches based on feedback.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Codex to accelerate development, debugging, testing, and implementation tasks.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience building user-facing web applications.
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Strong understanding of modern HTML, CSS, and front-end fundamentals.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating backend services.
- Ability to debug issues and work within existing codebases.
- Familiarity with unit and end-to-end testing.
- Clear written communication skills for an async-first environment.
- Preferred: experience with state management or data-fetching libraries such as React Query.
- Preferred: exposure to performance optimization or scalable front-end patterns.
- Preferred: familiarity with CI/CD workflows or cloud environments.
- Preferred: interest in mobile or cross-platform development.
