Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality for SaaS and data protection features using an automation-first approach.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and system testing.
- Use AI and GenAI technologies to improve test automation, test coverage, defect detection, and root cause analysis.
- Validate backup, recovery, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and data management workflows across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Execute large-scale system testing that simulates enterprise deployments and customer workloads.
- Integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines and provide continuous quality feedback.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze failures, perform root cause analysis, drive defects to closure, mentor junior engineers, and promote quality engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 8 years of QA and test automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as PyTest, Selenium, Playwright, or Robot Framework.
- Experience building scalable automation frameworks and automated test suites.
- Strong experience testing SaaS products, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
- Deep knowledge of backup, recovery, data protection, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience domains.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP, and virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
- Experience with API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and system-level validation.
- Strong Linux, debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Experience using AI or GenAI tools and technologies to improve test automation and quality engineering workflows is preferred.
