Responsibilities
- Own frontend tickets from analysis through deployment.
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend features using Angular.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, product managers, Tech Leads, and backend developers to refine requirements and implementation details.
- Integrate frontend components with backend Web APIs and REST endpoints.
- Ensure UI/UX consistency, accessibility, code quality, and application performance.
- Debug frontend and backend integration issues and understand service architecture and API design.
- Take initiative in clarifying requirements, solving ambiguous problems, and owning outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a heavy specialization in Angular.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS.
- Understanding of semantic HTML, accessible design, and responsive layouts.
- Experience integrating frontend features with REST APIs and backend services, including working strictly against backend APIs.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control workflows such as Git.
- Strong communication, initiative, resourcefulness, and self-directed learning skills.
- Experience with AngularJS is helpful but not required.
- Understanding of backend technologies such as C# or .NET is helpful but not required.
- Experience in benefits administration, insurance, or regulated industries is helpful but not required.
