Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery and end-to-end solution architecture for Finance Transformation Office initiatives.
  • Design, document, validate, and govern scalable finance systems architectures, processes, and integration patterns.
  • Ensure solutions comply with vendor standards, architecture principles, internal governance requirements, and design-validation SLAs.
  • Engage finance leaders, IT partners, vendors, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Facilitate technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, architecture workshops, proof-of-concept activities, and solution presentations.
  • Establish architecture standards, technology selection practices, and developer best practices across transformation programs.
  • Review architecture, resolve complex technical issues, manage cross-program dependencies, and provide technical escalation support.
  • Perform hands-on development for proofs of concept, reference implementations, or critical components when required.
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend modernization, integration, and performance-improvement strategies.
  • Maintain architecture documentation and knowledge bases while contributing to enablement, governance evolution, and innovation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Established experience as a Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Solution Consultant, ideally in enterprise finance, SaaS, or financial services technology.
  • Extensive software development and hands-on engineering experience across modern application platforms and architectures.
  • Advanced expertise designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable enterprise-grade systems.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native architecture, with architect-level or hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud provider.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of .NET, Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Practical experience with architecture documentation methodologies and standards.
  • Experience with pre-sales and solution-shaping activities, including estimation, technical proposals, and architecture reviews.
  • Proven experience consulting clients on technical architecture decisions in complex delivery environments.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Business-level English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valuable additional experience includes core banking systems, middleware, digital frontend frameworks, financial services integration patterns, AI, ML, cybersecurity, data platforms, enterprise automation, TOGAF or SEI, vendor certifications, partner enablement, technical training, multi-vendor IT distribution, and international or multicultural work.
