Responsibilities
- Design scalable event-driven services using Kafka, including topic strategies, consumer groups, and messaging integrations.
- Develop responsive and accessible front-end interfaces using Bootstrap.
- Model, configure, and optimize business workflows using Camunda BPM.
- Profile and tune services, Kafka configurations, Bootstrap components, and Camunda BPM workflows for performance.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, operations, support teams, and business stakeholders on solution design, incidents, and releases.
- Apply secure coding and compliance-conscious practices in regulated financial-services environments.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews and design discussions.
- Document architectures, Kafka strategies, Bootstrap components, and Camunda BPM process definitions.
- Coordinate controlled application releases during day-shift collaboration windows.
Requirements
- At least ten years of development experience designing and implementing event-driven applications with Kafka.
- Strong experience creating responsive, accessible, and maintainable enterprise user interfaces with Bootstrap.
- Proficiency with Camunda BPM, including process modeling, task lifecycles, decision models, and application-service integration.
- Understanding of distributed application integration patterns, testing approaches, and continuous integration practices.
- Practical familiarity with asset and wealth management concepts such as portfolio servicing, advisory workflows, and client reporting.
- Advanced problem-solving and communication skills for technical and business collaboration.
- Familiarity with secure development guidelines, audit-friendly logging, and observability tools.
- Preferred certifications include Kafka certification from Confluent or a similar provider and Camunda BPM practitioner certification.
