Responsibilities
- Implement tasks within the Software Development Lifecycle under the structure and oversight of more experienced staff.
- Follow internal conventions, standards, and standard procedures.
- Apply internal standards and processes to make technical decisions.
- Collaborate with peers, the manager, and project lead to understand tasks and review solutions.
- Contribute to code and design reviews when applicable.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid Java programming skills.
- Familiarity with object-oriented design.
- Knowledge of Java frameworks including Spring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience with modern financial systems or platforms, including core banking, backend payment hubs, financial reconciliation, or reporting in a highly regulated financial services environment, is preferred.
