Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver reliable, maintainable, and well-tested engineering solutions for tooling and automation platforms.
- Improve the stability, availability, and performance of production environments through monitoring, observation, and automation.
- Resolve complex incidents and problems, oversee incident resolution, and provide level-three or advanced infrastructure support.
- Partner with product development and provide technical delivery governance, outage coordination, and platform expertise.
- Drive continuous service improvement, eliminate repetitive support activities, and maintain operational runbooks and documentation.
- Perform periodic disaster recovery testing and support production change releases.
- Participate in the global on-call rotation, weekend change activities, and remote support when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent diploma or technical faculty qualification.
- At least 10 years of experience as an engineer specializing in SRE, production support, ITIL, cloud technology, monitoring, and automation.
- Leading-level experience in global level-three SRE, production support, and automation within an ITIL framework.
- Experience supporting complex application and infrastructure domains in a medium-to-large enterprise environment.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, MSPL scripting, Java, and related scripting technologies.
- Experience with technologies including Nexthink Infinity, Power Platform, Power Automate, GCP, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Ansible.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Confluence, and Jira.
- Experience with MS SQL administration is beneficial.
- Experience with AI MS-SCORCH development is beneficial.
- SRE and ITIL certifications are preferred.
- Financial services experience is beneficial.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and collaboration skills across distributed, multicultural teams.
