Responsibilities
- Extend and improve the Lexware Office codebase to meet evolving business requirements.
- Design and implement robust technical solutions for new features.
- Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using Java and Spring Boot, with frontend work involving React where applicable.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and Scrum Masters in a cross-functional Scrum team.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architectural decisions, and continuous improvement of the technical infrastructure.
- Investigate and resolve problems independently while communicating directly with colleagues.
- Apply customer perspectives to improve the payroll and business software experience.
Requirements
- Several years of experience developing and designing cloud-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid experience with microservice architectures, database design, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks, especially React, is advantageous.
- AWS knowledge or willingness to learn AWS is advantageous.
- Strong interest in high-quality software development and the ability to work through complex business domains.
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style with strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with or enthusiasm for agile software development using Scrum.
- Very strong German language skills at minimum C2 level.
