Base Salary
$90k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
- Lead architecture and design discussions for enterprise-level solutions and develop secure, maintainable, performant APIs and backend services.
- Build cloud, enterprise-application, data-source, and data-processing integrations to support analytics and AI initiatives.
- Translate requirements into software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, and technical teams.
- Provide technical mentorship, lead through influence, and participate in technical planning, estimation, and roadmap discussions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and drive improvements in code quality, maintainability, scalability, and engineering processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience and demonstrated experience building and maintaining enterprise software applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C#, Java, or comparable programming languages.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices, working with SQL and relational databases, and using cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake or similar technologies, plus understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design.
- Familiarity with Git, testing frameworks, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to lead technical projects, collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, solve complex problems, and mentor engineers.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-enabled applications, Azure services, Microsoft technology, Docker, Kubernetes, data engineering, analytics platforms, enterprise integrations, IoT, smart buildings, or industrial technology.
