Base Salary
$200k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and ship a self-hostable version of Console for enterprise use cases.
- Design and evolve a deployment system for fast, reliable, and downtime-free production shipping.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/GCP, balancing performance, cost, and reliability.
- Enhance developer experience by improving tooling and workflows.
- Drive deployment processes to enable faster builds and safer releases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-time experience in backend or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP, understanding tradeoffs beyond defaults.
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi and familiarity with TypeScript/Node/React.
- Proven track record of building high-scale, production-grade systems from scratch.
- Strong instincts for developer experience and a commitment to building user-friendly platforms.
- A bias toward reliability and quality in engineering work.
