Responsibilities
- Build and operate core platform services for API gateways, event routing, identity integrations, secrets management, and auditing.
- Design event-driven workflow execution systems using Kafka and Temporal, including retries, idempotency, replay, and at-least-once delivery.
- Implement pluggable key-management, cloud KMS, bring-your-own-key, envelope-encryption, and per-client cryptographic-isolation capabilities.
- Build fine-grained capability grants for clients, workflows, operations, and service-to-service requests.
- Own GitOps deployment pipelines and onboarding automation for isolated client environments.
- Develop secure connectors for third-party APIs with scoped access, managed credentials, request validation, and audit logging.
- Improve observability, reliability, failure recovery, security, operational readiness, and production incident response.
Requirements
- Production backend service development and operations experience using Go or Rust.
- Experience designing event-driven systems with Kafka or similar technologies, including retries, idempotency, replay, and at-least-once delivery.
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, token lifecycle management, or fine-grained access controls.
- Experience implementing encryption or key-management solutions using cloud KMS platforms, envelope encryption, or key-hierarchy designs.
- Experience operating multi-tenant production systems with structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and incident-response practices.
- Preferred experience with Temporal or another durable workflow orchestration platform.
- Preferred experience with Zitadel, Keycloak, Auth0, Okta, ClickHouse, GitOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, MSP/PSA/RMM/security/Microsoft 365 APIs, regulated environments, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
