Responsibilities
- Design and build intelligent lead scoring, routing, and assignment systems.
- Implement AI/ML-powered features using LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval systems for sales representatives.
- Develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components, and integrations.
- Build backend services and APIs in Java and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Operations, Data Science, Product, and other business teams.
- Own the full software lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, release, monitoring, and continuous integration.
- Drive engineering initiatives for the new team, define team practices, mentor future hires, and shape engineering culture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building scalable backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java and/or TypeScript, including REST API design, data modeling, and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and experience turning ambiguous requirements into actionable plans.
- Experience with SQL databases, data pipelines, and data-driven architectures.
- Experience with Salesforce development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integrations, or the demonstrated ability and willingness to learn Salesforce quickly.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Product, and other business teams.
- Preferred experience includes sales tools, CRM integrations, revenue operations systems, lead scoring, sales analytics, marketing automation, AWS or other cloud platforms, event-driven architecture, or real-time data processing.
- Preferred familiarity with AI/ML concepts and production LLM use, including prompt engineering, RAG, and tool calling.
