Base Salary
$141k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Configure and troubleshoot Carbyne’s emergency communication platform.
- Install, maintain, and integrate PBX and unified communications solutions.
- Deploy customized unified communications solutions for clients.
- Onboard new customers according to customer requirements, solution specifications, and best practices.
- Create and maintain technical specifications and solution documentation.
- Provide technical support and training to the Operations team on 911 emergency communications systems.
- Act as the technical liaison between Operations, Engineering, Sales, the CTO Office, and Product Managers.
- Support highly available, secure, multi-tenant RTC and VoIP signaling services.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience deploying open-source VoIP solutions in solutions deployment roles.
- Hands-on installation experience with open-source unified communications platforms such as Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, or Asterisk.
- Extensive knowledge of VoIP deployments and SIP, SDP, RTP, and WebRTC troubleshooting.
- Understanding of audio and video codecs, packetization, encryption, and transport.
- At least 3 years of networking experience, including knowledge of the OSI model and network layers 1–7.
- Understanding of Linux environments and Bash scripting.
- Hands-on deployment experience in private and public network/security clouds, including AWS.
- Preferred certifications include CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA Voice.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure is preferred.
