Base Salary
$227k - $341k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship high-impact AI features and products that enhance customer and internal workflows.
- Design and build foundational infrastructure for Amplitude's AI systems.
- Identify high-leverage opportunities by understanding user workflows and customer pain points.
- Establish reusable patterns and components for AI feature development.
- Drive adoption and quality through collaboration with product, design, and customer-facing teams.
- Set technical direction for AI systems and influence the long-term roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in production LLM or applied AI systems.
- Experience designing and scaling AI products or platforms with real reliability constraints.
- Deep familiarity with the modern AI ecosystem, including model APIs and agent frameworks.
- Strong product sense and systems thinking for effective decision-making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across various teams.
