Base Salary
$228k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve cloud infrastructure platforms including networking, IAM, and Kubernetes.
- Lead the architecture of multi-tenant, multi-region, and multi-cloud infrastructure.
- Implement build pipelines and self-service platform workflows for a growing engineering organization.
- Establish secure-by-default cloud infrastructure practices and maintain compliance.
- Create reusable infrastructure abstractions and developer platform capabilities.
- Drive improvements in observability and incident response across the organization.
- Bridge local development and production environments to maximize engineering velocity.
- Partner with teams to balance platform standardization with developer flexibility.
- Influence infrastructure cost and capacity strategy across cloud environments.
- Evangelize and mentor the engineering team on cloud-native platform engineering.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software and infrastructure engineering experience.
- Significant experience with infrastructure-as-code platforms in cloud-first organizations.
- Expertise in designing and operating large-scale Kubernetes platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD systems for infrastructure and application delivery.
- Proficient in building scalable infrastructure-as-code platforms using Terraform.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling at scale.
- Comfortable implementing services in Google Cloud Platform as infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong operational instincts and experience debugging complex distributed systems.
- Ability to balance developer experience with operational reliability.
- Experience with backend languages such as Python, GoLang, or Node.
