Responsibilities
- Build scalable ETL pipelines that feed downstream data processes and establish relationships between data sets.
- Analyze requirements, validate ETL files, onboard clients to the ZMP/CDP+ platform, establish users, perform aggregations, and syndicate data across platforms.
- Analyze and implement incremental change requests while assessing impacts on the platform architecture and downstream processes.
- Test changes in development environments, conduct peer code and solution reviews, and support production deployments.
- Participate in change approval meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, client project status meetings, and process-improvement initiatives.
- Document processes and workflows and collaborate with Solutions Management, Delivery, Product Engineering, and Business Solutions teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4+ years of experience.
- Experience with relational data modeling, ETL and FTP concepts, advanced analytics using SQL functions, AWS, and Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake; familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL database methodologies is preferred.
- Knowledge of ETL tools such as Talend, with DM Express and Informatica as additional desirable technologies.
- Programming knowledge in PL/SQL, with JavaScript and Python strongly preferred and Scala considered a plus.
- Knowledge of AWS S3, EMR, EC2, Systems Manager, and Parameter Store.
- Understanding of JSON data structures, Git or other code repositories, workflow management tools, and Jira.
- Familiarity with Apache Airflow, Kafka, Automic/Appworx, Scrum practices, and agile delivery.
- Ability to interpret requirements, recommend and implement solutions, work independently and collaboratively, communicate status and concerns, and prioritize client-driven work.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
