Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, and networks.
- Lead threat modeling exercises and security design reviews for high-impact systems.
- Develop detection mechanisms, incident response playbooks, and remediation strategies.
- Drive automation of security operations, including monitoring and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed security into development pipelines.
- Mentor junior security engineers and support their technical growth.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or infrastructure protection.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Deep experience with AWS/GCP/Azure security services and infrastructure hardening.
- Strong scripting and automation skills, such as Python, Bash, or Terraform.
- Proficiency with security tools like SIEMs, IDS/IPS, SAST/DAST, and WAFs.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
