Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop flight-critical software with Simulink, Stateflow, and related MathWorks tools.
- Define software architecture, modeling standards, and development workflows aligned with DO-178C and DO-331.
- Create, maintain, and review software requirements, models, auto-generated code, architecture documentation, and certification artifacts.
- Maintain requirements traceability through requirements-based design, verification, and certification activities.
- Integrate model checks, code generation, static analysis, and automated verification into CI pipelines.
- Collaborate with systems, safety, hardware, flight controls, and flight test engineering groups.
- Support SOI audits, certification reviews, HIL and PIL testing, flight testing, automated test execution, and flight test data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience developing embedded or safety-critical software.
- Extensive experience with Simulink, Stateflow, and Embedded Coder for safety-critical software development.
- Experience with Simulink Check, Simulink Code Inspector, Simulink Test, and Polyspace Bug Finder.
- Strong requirements-management experience using tools such as DOORS, Jama, or Polarion.
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience with DO-178C and DO-331.
- Experience with CI/CD environments and automated model and code quality checks.
- Experience developing embedded flight software in C/C++, integrating auto-generated code with manual code, and performing HIL testing.
- Experience with MATLAB scripting, tool automation, test automation, integration troubleshooting, and flight test data analysis.
