Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and own resilient, performant, and scalable software solutions using the Angular ecosystem.
- Lead architectural discussions, make technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and support integration and deployment using internal platforms and Git.
- Deploy and manage applications on the OpenShift container platform.
- Integrate upstream data sources with downstream consumers and translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Own the full application lifecycle, including application support and troubleshooting production issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to Prime Intelligence capabilities for portfolio analytics, PnL explain, and post-trade data.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale distributed systems.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of modern Angular.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives, making architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Tekton and version control with Git.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: finance-sector knowledge, including Prime Finance, PnL attribution, portfolio analytics, or post-trade processing.
- Preferred: an advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with OLAP data stores such as Apache Pinot.
- Preferred: Unix/Linux and shell scripting proficiency.
- Preferred: experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
