Base Salary
$90k - $101k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead distributed development teams across onshore and offshore locations.
- Design, develop, and implement conversational AI and agentic AI solutions based on client requirements.
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native AI applications on AWS.
- Develop and orchestrate AI agents, including tool-calling, function-calling, multi-agent workflows, and LLM applications.
- Implement prompt engineering, grounding, model evaluation, guardrails, prompt-injection mitigation, and responsible AI controls.
- Optimize and monitor production AI agents and conversational AI systems for accuracy, latency, scalability, reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with QA and UAT teams to test, validate, and deploy solutions.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of software engineering experience with hands-on experience building conversational AI, generative AI, or cloud-native applications.
- Experience with AWS Lex or another deterministic bot platform, voice bot and chatbot development, intent modeling, conversation design, prompt engineering, and NLU concepts.
- Hands-on experience building production-grade generative AI applications using Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and AWS Strands.
- Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks, tool integrations, agent workflows, and enterprise AI agent development.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Experience securing enterprise AI agents through guardrails, prompt-injection mitigation, data protection, access controls, and responsible AI controls.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified AI Practitioner or AWS Certified AI Engineer are helpful.
- Experience with RAG architectures, multi-agent systems, advanced agent orchestration, conversational analytics, agent evaluation frameworks, AI governance, compliance, and enterprise AI security controls is preferred.
- Experience using at least one AI development tool such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude is preferred.
