Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with customers and account teams to understand business objectives, automation goals, systems, workflows, security requirements, and operational constraints.
- Architect and document customer integration patterns, including system context, API dependencies, request and response flows, authentication, and operational support considerations.
- Develop API and automation strategies across multiple Lumen products and collaborate with technology architects and domain specialists.
- Lead or participate in customer workshops, architecture discussions, technical demonstrations, integration reviews, troubleshooting sessions, and onboarding calls.
- Serve as an escalation and consultation resource for Technical Sellers handling complex or multi-product opportunities.
- Create and maintain API design guides, reference architectures, integration patterns, quick-reference materials, example workflows, and FAQs.
- Partner with Product Management, API Platforms, development teams, and documentation owners to improve API resources.
- Develop and deliver API training through live sessions, recorded demonstrations, instructional videos, technical discussions, office hours, and architecture workshops.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant education and professional experience.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, API or integration architecture, software or platform consulting, network automation, or telecommunications engineering.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical discovery and translating customer business and technical requirements into clear, supportable solution designs.
- Working knowledge of API authentication and authorization concepts, including OAuth 2.0, tokens, credentials, scopes, and secure handling of secrets.
- Strong written, verbal, listening, presentation, and facilitation skills for communicating with technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer engagements, enablement deliverables, and competing priorities.

- Location-based base salary ranges vary by state from $118,079-$157,437, $123,991-$165,310, or $129,891-$173,181.
