Responsibilities
- Develop, evolve, and support backend Java applications.
- Develop and integrate microservices and API-based solutions.
- Implement system integrations using Spring Boot, OpenFeign, and Apache Camel.
- Work with containerized applications using Docker.
- Develop solutions integrated with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Configure and integrate applications and cloud services in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute to technical definitions and decisions supporting quality, scalability, security, and development best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using Agile and/or SAFe practices.
- Support technical documentation and activity tracking using Confluence and Jira.
Requirements
- Solid backend development experience with Java.
- Experience with microservices architecture and API integration.
- Knowledge and experience with Spring Boot, OpenFeign, Apache Camel, and Docker.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Oracle, MongoDB, Amazon Aurora, and/or DB2.
- Experience or knowledge with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of configuring and integrating cloud services, especially Amazon S3, EKS, and MSK.
- Knowledge of Agile and/or SAFe methodologies and frameworks.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Banking or financial-sector experience, knowledge of credit-card products or processes, prior work at banks or financial institutions, and AWS or Microsoft Azure certification are desirable.
