Base Salary

$140k - $160k/yr

Responsibilities

Partner directly with enterprise customers to understand and solve web scraping and data extraction challenges.
Own customer requests from intake through delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Manage and support scraping engineers who build and maintain customer data pipelines.
Translate customer context and feedback into actionable product roadmap input for engineering.
Define, document, and scale the Forward Deployed Engineer function.
Build, debug, and maintain web scraping infrastructure or data extraction systems at scale.

3+ years of professional engineering experience with a strong record of shipping software systems.
1+ year of direct customer-facing technical experience, such as solutions engineering, technical account management, or sales engineering.
Hands-on experience with web scraping infrastructure or data extraction systems at scale.
Proficiency with Selenium, Puppeteer, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or equivalent tools.
Familiarity with bot-detection evasion, request infrastructure, or anti-scraping mitigation techniques.
Demonstrated ability to manage or mentor engineers, including informally.
Experience owning customer problems end-to-end and translating them into technical requirements.
A track record of improving customer satisfaction metrics or accelerating sales velocity through technical delivery.
Experience at an early-stage or growth-stage startup.
Experience with data-driven buyers such as investment analysts, heads of data, or founders is a plus.
Familiarity with data quality assurance, validation pipelines, or structured data delivery is a bonus.

Salary of $140,000 to $160,000 per year.
On-site position in New York City, NY; candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City.
