Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions using Python, AWS services, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.
- Gather requirements from product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
- Oversee code reviews, testing strategies, deployment processes, and timely project delivery.
- Develop AI governance and guardrails, apply AI development lifecycle practices, and design tools for AI agents.
- Develop and maintain short- and long-range pharmaceutical forecasts using analytical methods, historical trends, and cross-functional inputs.
- Partner with global and regional marketing, finance, and market access teams to deliver insights, presentations, and concept notes.
- Perform business analysis, sensitivity modeling, and data management using SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and basic Python automation.
- Provide strategic guidance on forecasting assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in Python application development; FastAPI experience is preferred.
- Experience designing and deploying applications on AWS.
- Experience with AI governance and guardrails, internal AI tools and platforms, AI development lifecycle practices, and AI-agent tool design.
- Strong understanding of database design and optimization.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
