Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-throughput Java and Spring Boot microservices serving millions of devices.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs using JSON/XML, JWT, and OAuth 2.0.
- Design MongoDB schemas and queries and build event-driven architectures with Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS, and Kinesis.
- Containerize and deploy services with Docker and AWS EKS/Kubernetes using automated delivery pipelines.
- Contribute to system design for high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and performance.
- Write clean, testable, documented code with strong unit and integration test coverage.
- Own features from design and implementation through deployment and production monitoring.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive reliability improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning.
- Use AI-powered development tools for code generation, code reviews, test creation, planning, and debugging.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, or equivalent, from a top 150 NIRF engineering college.
- At least 8 years of hands-on backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Experience with MongoDB and NoSQL schema design, indexing, and aggregation pipelines.
- Practical experience with AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, source-control platforms, and delivery tooling.
- Knowledge of REST API design, versioning, OAuth 2.0, JWT, event streaming, networking, load balancing, and persistent connections.
- Experience with Kafka, AWS Kinesis, AWS Lambda/serverless architectures, AWS ALB/NLB, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, or observability platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL databases, Redis/ElastiCache, Bash, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frontend development is advantageous.
- Exposure to OCPP, EV/IoT, renewable energy, or clean technology environments is advantageous.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot, Windsurf/Cursor, ChatGPT, or Claude for development and technical planning is advantageous.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical, communication, ownership, and independent execution skills.
